About us

The club began in 1967 as a group of divers who would dive in open water.

Over time it has evolved in to an Underwater Hockey (otherwise known as Octopush) club based at the John Charles Centre for Sport’s Aquatic Centre in Leeds.

The group consists of around 40 members of all ages and abilities with members dropping in and out week on week to suit their schedules. But we regularly have at least 12 members at each training session.

We meet on a Monday evening each week and train from 20:30 – 21:30. The first 20 minutes or so is for training and practice. With the remaining time spent playing a friendly game.

If you’ve never played before, we’ve got kit you can borrow and we’ll show you the ropes!

If you have played before or are visiting from another club, we’d love for you to join us. Just drop us a message to let us know you’re coming along.
